„„I liked it drippy.“ – Craig Costello, founder of Krink.
Picture this: You're growing up in New York in the '80s, writing on walls, skating, listening to punk, hip-hop and new wave, and all your creative friends are writing or dabbling graffiti for fun. You live and breathe the origins of everything we love and cherish so much today. But there's one problem: Back then, there were no markers suitable for this particular occasion: Writing on concrete, metal or stone ... preferably nice and quiet and with long-lasting colors.
So what do you do?
Craig Costello did what an entrepreneurial mind (with a touch of criminal energy and little to no money) had to do. He shoplifted markers, paint, shoe polish, ... Literally anything he could find to achieve his goal. And through trial and error, paved his way to a perfect graffiti marker and a world-renowned and respected company for unique markers, sprayers and artistic collaboration.
